Sewing pattern for an old-fashioned Slat Bonnet traditionally used for outings or outdoor wear.  This was a very common style used by Great Plains pioneer women of the prairie, and is still used by women of some Amish groups today.  Has a wide, quilted brim, gathered crown, neck curtain to protect from the sun and wind, and ties at chin.  Pattern includes a women's size and a girl's size.
